The Gold Country Fair and The Gold Country Fair Heritage Foundation are working together to protect and enhance the Gold Country Fairgrounds with ongoing volunteer support and special events, and educating Placer County residents about the importance of our fairgrounds.
Our Fairground Improvement Day program encourages community organizations, school clubs, corporations, and individuals to take an active role in improving the Gold Country Fairgrounds. One unselfish act benefits the entire community. Improving the fairgrounds can take many forms, including providing maintenance assistance in the form of general clean-up, painting, weeding, and planting of new vegetation; donating products and resources; and volunteering hours during the fair to help visitors receive a high level of customer service.
We encourage you to become directly involved with the fairgrounds, invest in environmental protection, and protect our resources while experiencing personal, social, and physical rewards.
FAIRGROUND IMPROVEMENT DAY PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL FFA, 4H, AND INDEPENDENT LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS PARTICIPATING IN THE 2016 GOLD COUNTRY FAIR. ALL EXHIBITORS MUST FILL OUT A VOLUNTEER RELEASE FORM AND SEND COMPLETED FORM VIA FAX (530)885-3225 OR SCAN & EMAIL TO info@GOLDCOUNTRYFAIR.COM
