| | General Requirements - Please submit completed application as soon as possible. Attach color photographs of the proposed exhibit booth and product(s) as they would appear at the Gold Country Fair. Don’t underestimate the importance of photos that are clear and show your exhibit booth at its best!
- Consideration is given to prior participants based upon a professional display, uniqueness, quality product(s), and conducting business in a professional manner.
- Upon our review, we will notify all new applicants of their acceptance or position on our waiting list within three weeks of receipt of application. Timely entries are encouraged.
Specifications - Stands must be staffed at all times during the following hours: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Thursday; 4 p.m. – Midnight Friday, Noon – Midnight Saturday; Noon – 10 p.m. Sunday.
- Health Inspections will begin on Wednesday, September 3. Health permit applications will be sent with contracts, if applicable, and permit fees collected by the Fair.
- All electrical installations shall conform to the Electrical Safety of the State of California. We reserve the right to place any stand on generator power.
- All vendors selling taxable merchandise or providing a taxable service in California, even on a temporary basis, must have a Seller’s Permit. Contact the Board of Equalization at (916) 255-3422 for more information. If you already have your Seller’s Permit, attach a copy to this application.
- All vendors are required to provide $1,000,000 public liability insurance naming the County of Placer, Gold Country Fair, and the State of California as additionally insured. If you are unable to secure this coverage, you may purchase insurance through the Fair for $115 per booth. Please contact the Fair Office for more information. All vendors with employees must provide a copy of Workers Compensation Insurance. If no employees, a letter stating so must be on file with the Gold Country Fair.
- Sixteen one-day credentials will be issued each concessionaire per location and will be available at the Fair office beginning August 20, 2008. Additional credentials (one-time entry) are available to concessionaires at a cost of $4.00 each (maximum fifty credentials), and must be purchased in advance. Concessionaires are responsible for distribution of credentials. Concession staff arriving without credentials must pay regular admission at gates. There will be no refunds or exchanges.
- Each concessionaire is issued two passes which are to be displayed on the inside lower left corner of vehicle windshields. These passes are valid ONLY in the Pleasant/High Street Parking Lot. Enter this lot via Pleasant Avenue. The Sacramento Street Parking Lot is only available for exhibitor parking in the event that the Pleasant/High Street parking Lot is full. Overnight parking is not permitted without prior permission of Fair management. Limited overnight parking (no hook-ups) is available at $25.00 per vehicle, payable in advance, for the four-day period of the Fair.

| | Fair Owned Concession Stands - Available only to Non-profit associations.
- Six units located at Food.
- Each unit is approximately 10'x15' and is equipped with hot and cold running water and refrigeration.
- Electrical capacity of each unit is 30 amps.
- Vendor must supply all appliances and cooking apparatus.
Rental Rates - 15% of gross sales after taxes upon reaching the minimum guarantee
- Health Permit Fee: $60
Self-Contained Units - Areas are located throughout the Fairgrounds and are placed by Fair Management.
- Most food stands are located along Food Row on the Placer Hall side of the street. A few other food stands are located in other strategic areas on the grounds.
Rental Rates - 25% of gross sales after taxes upon reaching the minimum guarantee
- Minimum Guarantee: Set at management’s discretion
- Utility Fee: $125 per stand
- Health Permit Fee: $60 per stand
Attractions (other than official Carnival) - Areas are located throughout the Fairgrounds and are placed by Fair Management.
- All of the exhibit must fit within the designated space boundaries.

- Utility Fee: $125 per stand
RV and Stock Truck Parking - RV parking is located in the RV Park and is limited to 20 RV units. All spaces are equipped with power and water hookups. Sewer hookups are limited, but a dump station is available.
- Stock Truck parking is located in an area designated by Fair Management.
- Spaces are available on a first come first served basis. If space is not available, you will be notified.
Rates - $100 per unit – full hookups.
- $25 per unit – no hookups (RV’s).
- Early arrival will be charged $20.00 per unit per night.
